Some college ink assignments. For the first couple weeks the theme was to demonstrate each of the principles of art and design.
For the line assignment I wanted to use this sort of noir-esque theme inspired by Daredevil, Moon Knight, and Punisher comics. Clearly, I took a lot from Ellis and Shalvey's run on Moon Knight.
The movement assignment had more specific instructions. We were to demonstrate 2 sounds that are direct opposites of each other through visuals. In this case I compared the harsh screeching tires of a street race to the tranquility of grass blowing in the wind. Very much inspired by Tradd Moore's art from Felipe Smith's All-New Ghost Rider. Pretty much stole and butchered his action confetti.
